It was during my bachelor's degree in art market studies that I discovered the profession of jewelry expert. This passion led me to study gemmology at the Institut National de Gemmologie in Paris, where I'm in my second year. Today, I want to make it my profession.
I have obtained my gemology levels 1, 2 and 3, which enable me to appraise gemstones, decorative stones and also so-called organic gems.
I did internships in various fields, in particular at the Vendôme Expertise firm, where I was able to observe the job of gemmologist and antique jewelry expert, a profession for which I am destined, and to put into practice what I had learned during exhibition days and auctions organized at the Hôtel Drouot.
I also worked in the Merveilles du Pacifique showroom and workshop, sorting, pairing, threading and piercing Tahitian cultured pearls. This experience enabled me to get to grips with cultured pearls, sorting and mounting jewelry, and above all to understand the sensitivity required to pair gems and pearls.
