CDI - Gemmologist colored stones

Visit GROSPIRON House is looking for an associate for its colored stone service.

You'll be responsible for project follow-up and delivery, from procurement to sorting, including quality control, order preparation and follow-up of pruning work.

Your tasks :

 Prepare orders :

•  You work with different types of customers (major houses, independent designers, etc.) and must therefore identify and understand the specific needs of each one.

Supervision of fit-to-work (FTW) and cut-to-spec (CTS) projects:

•   Select stones and submit for customer approval
•   Follow the various stages of cutting in conjunction with lapidaries
•   Guarantee the quality and conformity of stone cut to size or plan

Sourcing, quality control and sorting of colored stones:

• You participate in the selection of stones in accordance with the House's specifications.
• You monitor flows with suppliers
• You ensure the quality control of goods, as well as their sorting

Ensure proper stock management:

• You are responsible for stock and stock optimization
• You contribute to inventories

Profile required:

• You come from a gemmology training specialized in colored stones, with several years' experience
•  Experience in diamond sorting would also be appreciated
•  You are rigorous, organized and fluent in English.
•  You are adaptable and have good interpersonal skills.
•  Knowledge of the jewelry industry (manufacturing, setting, etc.) would be appreciated.
