Laurent Massi is a doctor of physics, gemmologist, lecturer, photomicrographer and has been teaching gemmology for over two decades.
Alongside his publications on various gemstones such as diamonds, rubies and sapphires, or on rarer gems such as clinohumite and hibonite, Dr. Massi - whose motto is "gems and travel as sources of inspiration"has travelled to the four corners of the world, visiting numerous mining areas and gem markets to collect samples and valuable information for his lectures, its teachings and his fine art photomicrographs.
In 2023, Dr Massi founded NEOGEM, a Paris-based gemmological consulting and support company.
