Bijouterie Héliodore has specialized in the world of antique jewelry for over 30 years. Its ambition is to preserve and democratize interest in and knowledge of antique jewelry by combining passion and scientific expertise.
And it's thanks to a history of passion that the jewelry store has enjoyed such longevity. In early 2023, Marianne Riocreux-Verney took over the helm of Héliodore under the name "Les écrins d'Héliodore". After a Master's degree in Art History specializing in antique jewelry in Bordeaux, and training in gemmology at the ING in Paris and Lyon, she returned to her roots in Saint-Etienne.
In the boutique where she acquired a taste for the aesthetics of antique jewelry at an early age, founder Anne-Marie Freydier passed on her knowledge and vision over the years, right up until her retirement, when they decided on a fine succession.
The jewelry store offers a wide range of services, starting with the purchase and sale of antique jewelry. With the aim of preserving jewelry, a repair, restoration and sizing service is also available. The boutique works in collaboration with a specialized workshop. To enhance the value of jewelry that can no longer be worn or repaired, a transformation and creation service is also available to customers. Last but not least, the jewelry store offers appraisals for insurance, inheritance or inventory purposes, on site or at home.
